Seema brings a distinguished background in litigation, dispute resolution, and public service to her work supporting organizations in navigating complex workplace concerns. At EPT Legal, Seema conducts impartial workplace investigations, facilitates trainings and restorative conversations, and partners with organizations to foster respectful, compliant, and inclusive workplace cultures.
Prior to joining EPT Legal, Seema served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Sarah L. Cave of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, where she worked on a wide range of disputes, including employment-related and high-conflict matters.
Before her clerkship, Seema served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the New York City Law Department, defending the City in complex civil litigation. Earlier in her career, she was a Deputy County Attorney with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, where she handled a high-volume caseload as a prosecutor and navigated matters involving significant interpersonal conflict and impact. Across these roles, she developed strong skills in interviewing, credibility assessment, boundary setting, and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders in emotionally charged situations.
Seema’s practice is further informed by her international human rights work with the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva, where she contributed to reports and guidance addressing rule of law, privacy, and accountability issues. A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, Seema served as an Articles Editor of the Michigan Journal of International Law and published scholarly work on international criminal accountability. She is fluent in Arabic, conversational in Spanish, and brings valuable multilingual and cross-cultural experiences to her work.
